Dr. Mirela Vasileva is a specialist in imaging diagnostics at the University Hospital "St. Marina" - Pleven since 2019. 

Specialized courses: 

•  5 core courses in the specialty (2023);
• Qualification courses at the "Doctoral School" - MU-Pleven (2021-2023);
•  Course on abdominal ultrasonography - "Hands on" session within the VIII National Congress for Young Gastroenterologists, Pleven, Bulgaria, 2023.
•  Abdominal Oncology Course - ESOR Visiting Professorship Programme - Bulgaria, Plovdiv, 2022;
•  Thematic course "Computed Tomography", Module 1: Physical Principles of X-ray Computed Tomography (Sofia, 2020 - Adjibadem City Clinic Tokuda Hospital); 
•  Participation in the project "Student Practices Phase 1" with practical training in a real work environment (240 hours, 05.12.2016-19.04.2017);
•  Participation in elective courses in the course of medical training (course on minimally invasive manipulations in medical practice, course on physiology of physical work and assessment of the functional capabilities of the human body, course on research methodology in clinical microbiology and infectology).

Dr Vassileva is a member of the Bulgarian Medical Association, the Bulgarian Association of Radiology, the Association of Young Hepatogastroenterologists, the European society of radiology, the European union of medical specialists and the European society of breast imaging
