The Clinic of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Hospital St. Marina – Pleven was founded based on the existing Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment in Obstetrics and Gynecology St. Marina. With its development and transformation into a university hospital, it has established itself as one of the leading structures in Bulgaria for the diagnosis and treatment of obstetric and gynecological diseases. The clinic offers modern and high-quality medical care by applying both classical and innovative high-tech methods of conservative and surgical treatment. It sets the standards in the field of oncogynecology at the national level and is recognized as a leader in the training of undergraduate and graduate students in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, as well as a preferred site for postgraduate and continuing education.
The clinic has a team of highly qualified specialists who, by continuously improving their expertise and applying modern standards of diagnosis and treatment, offer modern and comprehensive solutions for all obstetric and gynecological diseases. A significant number of the clinic's physicians are nationally and internationally recognized, with extensive experience in both treatment and research.
