Dr. Julia Feradova is a graduate of the Medical University of Pleven, from which she graduated in 2014 with excellent grades. After a competition in 2018 she was appointed Assistant Professor of General Surgery at the Department of Surgical Diseases of Medical University - Pleven, teaching foreign and Bulgarian students.

In 2020, she defended her dissertation thesis entitled "Study of quality of life change in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer treated by focused ultrasound surgery". Dr. Feradova has been part of the HIFU team at St. Marina Center - Pleven since her student years. 

After successfully passing the state exam in 2021, Dr. Feradova acquired the rights of a specialist in surgery and from the beginning of the same year she held the academic position of "Senior Assistant Professor". 

Over the years, Dr. Feradova has undergone specialized training in various fields of surgery both in Bulgaria and abroad - Chongqing (China), Bonn (Germany), Istanbul (Turkey), Madrid (Spain). She has made numerous presentations at international forums in Bulgaria, Germany, Turkey, China, Slovenia. 

Areas of professional and scientific interests: benign and malignant neoplasms of the mammary gland, hernias of the anterior abdominal wall, surgery of the gastrointestinal tract, laparoscopic surgery and innovative "scalpel-free surgery" with focused ultrasound - HIFU.
